Dr. Joe. Dispenza’s Advanced Week-long Retreat - Sunshine Coast, Australia

Having waited for almost 3 years to have a chance at securing both the funds and a ticket, I was ready and waiting for the opening of the event, so that I could purchase a highly sought-after ticket to the Sunshine Coast, Australia event. I knew that there would be thousands of people trying to get a ticket, but I also “knew” that I would get one.

Feeling so confident that I could secure a ticket I had even booked my flights to Brisbane a couple of months before the tickets were going on sale in anticipation of finally being there and attending an advanced retreat.

Hallelujah !

After experiencing a few adrenaline-fueled minutes, and completing all the forms as quickly as I could, I finally managed to secure one of the elusive 1200 tickets that sold out in less than 7 minutes. Dr. Joe is on the superstar level of people wanting to learn from him.

I flew over to Brisbane the day before the week-long registration opened to make sure that there were no travel disruptions that would interrupt my ability to attend the beginning of the event and there weren’t. I was very lucky.

I did a lot of Dr. Joe’s meditations, from the moment I arrived at the airport in Wellington and right through I arrived at the hotel on the Sunshine Coast. That included check-in, waiting, on the plane, and during the almost 3-hour shuttle ride.

The hotel was mostly good, although after checking out things didn’t go as smoothly as we expected, however, I remained patient and after 4 weeks, things were finally resolved. My advice, be careful what you pre-pay at the Novotel.

Early morning starts, late finishes and yet I had great sleep and felt refreshed. The meditations seemed to end as soon as they had begun. A very professional, and well-organised event, with an amazing Dr. Joe student volunteer army to help guide us to our seats and look after us when the need arised.

We are asked by Dr. Joe not to share very much about the event, so I will honour that request.

I would like to say - It was a wonderful, heart-opening week-long event, with amazing people, stories and organisation. I surprisingly met some Wellington locals, which was lovely, given how small the community is over here in New Zealand, some of us have reconnected since we are back and have been doing group walking meditations together most weekends.

Exciting news!

Update - May 2023

I loved it so much, that I managed to secure a ticket and booked my flights to go to the Advanced workshop in Vienna, Austria in August of this year. It will be a great way to practice some German too. Super Excited!! Only 4 weeks to go now.
